Stockpiling and Storage Facilities

A 52,000 square foot warehouse is located adjacent to Berth A and is currently being used for the storage of calcined petroleum coke.  The long-term plan is to demolish this building and construct a state of the art petroleum storage barn with automated conveyor systems for stockpiling and reclaiming the material.

There are 5 acres of uncovered concrete surfaced storage space immediately adjacent to the dock which are available and designed to handle the same heavy loading as the wharves.

Railcars can be unloaded adjacent to this area through the hopper unloading building.  This space is generally dedicated to cargoes that are stockpiled for a short time period.

There are an additional 10 acres of concrete surfaced storage space that is located only a short distance from the dock.  This area has storm water containment and can have various cargoes stockpiled and contained by portable walls.  The area has full rail access.
