General Overview of the Facility

  • The marine terminal has easy access to the interstate highway system.
  • Two berths which can accommodate up to Panamax-size vessels.
  • Vessels are discharged with four shore cranes.
  • Vessels are loaded with four shore cranes and portable conveyor ship loaders.
  • Outside cargo stockpiling areas are located on 25 acres of concrete storage adjacent and nearby the marine terminal.
  • Multiple cargo types can be stockpiled and kept separate through the use of portable concrete walls.
  • Railcar unloading with a bottom-dump hopper car building and conveyor systems.
  • Truck unloading with portable truck unloaders and conveyor systems.
  • Served by the Richmond Pacific Railroad (wholly owned subsidiary of LRTC’s parent corporation). The Richmond Pacific Railroad handles more than 11,000 loads per year and connects directly with the Union Pacific Railroad and the BNSF.
  • All cargos are handled in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
