Cranes and Ship Loader:
There are three 50-ton gantry cranes and one 25-ton gantry crane for loading and unloading vessels. Cranes use interchangeable hydraulic or mechanical clamshell buckets. Stacking conveyors are also used for the loading of cargoes like coal and petroleum coke.
A new 170 ft telescoping ship loader is currently under construction that is designed to load a ship at 1,000 MT per hour, which will greatly increase the speed of loading bulk cargoes.
